Opportunity:

RN - Med Surg

Job Details:

• Work on a 28-bed Medical-Surgical unit with a 1:6 patient ratio
• 4 weekend shifts required per 28-day schedule with holiday rotation
• Float rotation with other staff as needed
• Document using Meditech system
• Work alongside Clinical Coordinators, Unit Secretary, PCTs, and Case Management team
• Operate equipment including walkers, IV pumps, SCDs, and related medical devices
• Utilize communication boards to meet patient experience requirements
• Strong teamwork, compassion, collaboration, and communication skills required
• Medical-Surgical experience required including experience with respiratory diseases/illnesses, renal disease, GI illnesses/diseases, telemetry, CVCs, indwelling catheters, and heparin drips
• Oncology and general surgery patient experience preferred but not required
• Active RN license required
• Required certification: BLS
• Required dress code: Navy Blue Scrubs
