CVOR Registered Nurse Job in Appleton, WI

ThedaCare - Appleton is seeking a Registered Nurse for our Cardiovascular Operating Room. This is a 13-week travel contract with an immediate start date of September 28, 2026.

Schedule & Compensation

• 8-hour evening shifts with flexible start times of 6:15 AM, 9:00 AM, or 11:30 AM
• Guaranteed 40 hours per week (except during unit closures)
• Every 3rd weekend required
• On-call requirement of 1–2 nights per week and every 3rd weekend with 30-minute response time
• Weekly pay: $2,592

Responsibilities

• Circulate open heart, vascular, and general surgical cases
• Support primary cases including general CV, vascular, robotics, OBGYN, and breast/ortho procedures using the DaVinci XI system
• Serve as backup for general OR
• Float throughout the facility and to associated facilities within a 60-mile radius as needed
• Adhere to holiday rotation requirements with at least one major holiday assignment

Required Qualifications

• Current Wisconsin RN license
• Minimum 3+ years of CVOR experience
• EPIC charting experience within the last 2 years
• AHA BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
• Associate Degree or Certificate in Nursing
• Strong general, vascular, and CV skillset
• Ability to circulate open heart and vascular cases

Additional Details

• Black scrubs required
• Missed shifts must be made up within 2 weeks
• Previous travel experience strongly preferred
