CT Technologist Job in Bronx, NY

You will work as a CT Technologist at St. Barnabas Hospital in Bronx, NY. This is a 16-hour weekend shift assignment running for 89 days, starting September 7, 2026.

Shift Schedule

• Saturday 4:00 PM to Sunday 7:00 AM (double shift), or
• Saturday 11:30 PM to 7:00 AM and Sunday 4:00 PM to 11:30 PM

What You Will Do

• Operate CT scanners to produce cross-sectional images of patients' internal organs and tissues for medical diagnosis
• Accurately interpret physician scanning instructions and prepare CT scan equipment for use
• Administer contrast materials and position patients to capture appropriate diagnostic images
• Assist with inpatient portable X-rays ordered during overnight shifts
• Follow proper radiation safety procedures to protect both yourself and patients
• Maneuver equipment and assist patients who are disabled or require mobility support

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of CT technologist experience
• BLS certification (AHA)
• Current ARRT certification
• New York State Radiologic Technologist License
• NYS certification for contrast injections

Compensation

Weekly pay is $3,240.
