Job Details:

• 36/48 hour alternating schedule with 84 hours scheduled biweekly and a 72-hour guarantee
• Day and mid shift RNs work Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday / Sunday, Wednesday, Thursday on a repeating schedule with opportunity to pick up additional shifts
• Weekend coverage required
• Block scheduling type
• Patient ratio of 4:1 for days, nights, and weekends
• 3 years of experience preferred; minimum 2 years accepted if traveler has worked in a high volume or trauma facility
• Travel experience required; first-time travelers not accepted
• Trauma Level II experience preferred
• Epic charting system experience required
• Provide care for patients across all age groups including neonates, infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
• Work in a 62-room emergency department with a daily census of 190
• Interdisciplinary support available including physical therapy, respiratory services, pharmacy, radiology, social services, rapid response teams, and more
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC, NIHSS
• Key clinical skills required include arterial line management, blood product administration, care of ventilated patients, central line care, continuous IV sedation and paralytics, IV vasopressors, interpretation of dysrhythmias and ABGs, 12-lead EKG/ECG, triage, phlebotomy, procedural sedation, and management of multisystem organ dysfunction
