Emergency Department RN Job in Julesburg, CO

You'll work as a Registered Nurse in the Emergency Department at SCHealth- Memorial Hospital, a 15-bed critical access facility serving patients from birth through geriatric age groups. This per diem position covers night shifts with possible day shifts available.

Your Role:

• Provide direct patient care in the Emergency Department with floating responsibilities to the Medical/Surgical unit as needed
• Manage a patient-to-nurse ratio of 2:1
• Care for patients with conditions including COPD, Diabetes, CHF, Cardiac, and Trauma
• Administer Cardiac and Diabetic drips
• Mix your own medications, as there is no in-house pharmacy
• Operate telemetry equipment
• Document care using the Cerner EMR system

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of inpatient RN experience
• Active Colorado nursing license
• Current certifications: TNCC, ACLS, and BLS (must be on file at time of submission)
• Manager interview required prior to offer
