ED RN Job in San Antonio, TX

Methodist Hospital Westover Hills is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Emergency Department. You will join a team dedicated to providing urgent and emergent care to patients in the San Antonio area.

Position Overview

Schedule and Duration

• Shift: 3x12 Days (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM)
• Duration: 13 weeks (91 days)
• Start date: October 19, 2026

Compensation

• Weekly pay: $1,791

About the Role

As an ED RN, you will deliver direct patient care in a fast-paced emergency setting. Your responsibilities will include triage, patient assessment, medication administration, wound care, and collaboration with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to manage acute and critical conditions. You will monitor vital signs, document clinical observations, and provide emotional support to patients and families during stressful situations.

Requirements

• Current RN license (valid in Texas)
• ED experience strongly preferred
• Ability to work 12-hour shifts in a high-acuity environment
• Strong communication and critical thinking skills
