PCU RN Job in Weatherford, TX

Medical City Weatherford is seeking a registered nurse (RN) for a 91-day travel assignment in its Progressive Care Unit (PCU). You'll work the night shift, 7 p.m. to 7 a.m., three days per week at $1,708.20 weekly.

About the Role

You'll provide direct patient care on the 2nd floor PCU, a 12-bed unit serving medical patients. Your patient ratio will be 4:1, allowing you to deliver thoughtful, individualized care. Night shift staffing includes one charge nurse coordinator, three RNs, and one to two patient care technicians (PCTs), creating a collaborative environment where teamwork is essential.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess and monitor patient conditions throughout the shift
• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders
• Communicate with the interdisciplinary team and family members
• Document care accurately in Meditech, the facility's electronic medical record system
• Participate in unit rotation floating as needed
