Job Details:

• Work evening/night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• Three 12-hour shifts per week with 36-hour work weeks
• On-call responsibilities required
• ARRT certification required
• Washington State certification as radiologic technologist with registration in X-Ray and CT required
• Shimadzu portable experience required
• Experience with Rad Speed Pro, GE/OEC C-arms with OR experience, and Toshiba Aquillion required
• EPIC EMR experience required
• BLS certification required
• Prepare for and perform all examinations while operating assigned equipment safely
• Evaluate diagnostic images for technical quality
• Develop, initiate, and monitor procedures for effective utilization of the scanner
• Maintain cleanliness of scanner and associated equipment in accordance with infection control policies
• Perform IV access using sterile technique and administer contrast media under physician supervision
• Follow all universal blood and body substance precautions and personal protective equipment requirements
• Comply with all continuing education requirements as dictated by regulatory entities
• Utilize current EMR efficiently and complete required paperwork for each examination performed
• Lift and transfer patients using safe ergonomic technique and hydraulic lift or other safe patient handling devices
• Communicate with patients' family members or caregivers when necessary
