Opportunity:

Surgical Tech - Surgical Tech CVOR

Job Details:

• Work shifts from 5:00 AM to 5:00 PM with rotating weekends, call, and holidays
• CVOR Surgical Tech position with a 1:1 patient ratio
• Minimum 2 years of experience required
• Cardiothoracic/Cardiovascular surgical experience required
• EPIC experience required
• Travel experience required; first-time travelers not accepted
• Rotating on-call required (every other weekend and one shift during the week)
• Must be within 30 minutes of the facility when on call
• Block schedule accommodation available
• Must be able to work 3 shifts per week consistently
• Required certifications: BLS (AHA only), CST, NBSTSA
• Community hospital experience preferred
• Proficiency in a wide range of surgical procedures including cardiovascular, orthopedic, neurological, gynecological, urological, and general surgery cases
• Experience with aseptic technique, instrument processing, sterilization/disinfection, sharps safety, fire safety, laser safety, and radiation safety required
• Experience with advanced surgical systems such as Da Vinci Xi and Mako Surgical System preferred
• Serves patient age groups including adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics
