PCU Progressive Care Unit RN Job in Sioux City, IA

You will serve as a Registered Nurse in the Progressive Care Unit (PCU) at UnityPoint - St. Luke's Downtown in Sioux City, IA. This is a temporary travel assignment offering 3x12 hour day shifts with an every-other-weekend schedule and no on-call responsibilities.

Your Role

As an RN, you will contribute your professional and clinical knowledge to provide and manage patient care as part of an interdisciplinary team. You may be asked to float within the same discipline across local campuses, including the Emergency Department. The facility uses the EPIC electronic medical record system.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of previous step-down experience
• Current Iowa nursing license
• Valid driver's license
• BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), and NIHSS certifications
• Work history and resume
• Skills checklist completed within 1 year of submission
• Copy of required certifications
• One supervisory reference at time of submission
• Taxable address must be outside 50 miles from facility

Assignment Details

This is a 91-day assignment beginning August 17, 2026. Weekly pay is $2,332.80. First-time travelers are accepted.
