Oncology RN Job in Saint Louis, MO

You will work as a Registered Nurse in the Oncology unit at Barnes-Jewish Hospital Nursing in Saint Louis, Missouri. This is a 91-day travel assignment beginning October 26, 2026, with 3x12-hour night shifts per week at $2,088 weekly pay.

Role Responsibilities

• Care for adult patients with medical oncology diagnoses, including solid tumors such as lung, breast, and pancreatic cancers (average patient stay 3–5 days)
• Manage patient ratios of 1:4–5 for general oncology and 1:3 for BMT on all shifts
• Perform IV starts, trach care, port access, central line management, and PICC line care
• Administer blood and blood products
• Operate CAD pumps and infusion pump management
• Float within the service line to meet facility needs

Requirements and Qualifications

• Current RN license
• Minimum 1 year of nursing experience
• ACLS and BLS certifications required; BSN preferred
• Must pass Relias EKG exam with competency in interpretation and management of dysrhythmias
• First-time travelers accepted
• No ventilator experience required; chemotherapy administration not required unless certified

Assignment Details

• Every other weekend requirement
• No on-call requirement
• Guaranteed 3 shifts per 13-week contract; cancelled shifts must match regular assigned shift length
• Maximum 7 days of RTO per 13-week contract
• Navy Blue scrub color
• Electronic charting system: EPIC
