Oncology RN Job in Saint Louis, MO

Missouri Baptist Medical Center is seeking a Registered Nurse for its Oncology service in Saint Louis, MO. This is a 91-day travel assignment running five 8-hour day shifts per week, starting November 16, 2026. You will earn $2,312 weekly.

You will work in the cancer center clinic on the ground floor of the main building, coordinating care for adult patients throughout their cancer journey. Your responsibilities include managing patient refills, monitoring Epic inbasket messages, providing patient education and support, and floating within the service line as needed. You will care for approximately 5 patients per day shift across a clinic with an average daily census of 80 and approximately 16 visits per day. No on-call duties are required.

Requirements:

• Current RN license
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience
• BLS certification
• Epic charting system experience
• Proficiency in infusion center, inpatient and outpatient oncology, and active immunotherapy
• Ability to recognize and manage oncology-related side effects
• Competency in port care and management
• Knowledge of antibiotics and antiemetics
• Skills in care coordination, managing alterations in skin and mucous membranes, and addressing altered mental status

Preferred qualifications include: previous charge nurse experience, prior oncology experience, and community hospital background.

This assignment guarantees 3 shifts per 13-week contract period. You will join a dedicated oncology team in a community hospital setting focused on evidence-based cancer care and patient support.
