ED Registered Nurse Job in Stockbridge, GA

Piedmont Henry Hospital in Stockbridge, Georgia is hiring a Registered Nurse for the Emergency Department. This is a 140-day travel assignment beginning October 12, 2026, with a weekly pay rate of $1,812.

Position Details

• Shift: 3x12 nights
• Patient ratio: 4:1 across all shifts and weekends
• Work every other weekend with no on-call requirements
• Float within facility and scope of practice as needed

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience; first-time travelers accepted
• Georgia or Compact nursing license required
• Current ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications
• Telemetry competency exam required
• 12 hours of orientation

Clinical Scope

You will care for patients across all age groups—neonates, infants, adolescents, pediatrics, adults, and geriatrics. Core responsibilities include triage, interpretation and management of dysrhythmias, and care of ventilated patients. You will have access to interdisciplinary support including physical therapy, respiratory services, pharmacy, radiology, rapid response teams, and social services.

Preferred Qualifications

• CPI, TNCC, and ENPC certifications
• Experience with continuous IV sedation, procedural sedation administration and monitoring, and NIHSS assessment
• Familiarity with Arctic Sun and Glucommander equipment

Time Off Policy

Maximum of 7 days of requested time off per contract. All time off must be finalized at submission; no schedule requests can be made post-offer or on-site. No time off during orientation week. If one or two major holidays fall during your assignment, no holiday time off is available. If three major holidays fall during your assignment, one holiday time off may be considered. Major holidays are Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving/Black Friday, Christmas Eve/Christmas Day, and New Year's Eve/New Year's Day.
