PCU Registered Nurse Job in Port Huron, MI

You will deliver direct nursing care within our Progressive Care Unit (PCU) at McLaren Port Huron. This is a temporary position offering three 12-hour night shifts per week, with an every-other-weekend schedule requirement. The assignment runs for 91 days, beginning November 9, 2026, and pays $2,146 weekly.

Your responsibilities include:

• Delivering nursing care according to unit scope of practice and hospital policies
• Following nursing process guidelines, standards of care, and standards of practice
• Managing patient care with no on-call responsibilities
• Willingness to float to other units as needed

Required qualifications:

• Current Michigan nursing license
• Minimum 2 years of step-down unit experience
• Strong cardiac experience and demonstrated proficiency
• ACLS and BLS certifications

Travel nursing experience is preferred but not required. This role is ideal for an RN seeking a short-term night shift assignment in a progressive care setting with predictable scheduling and no on-call demands.
