ED RN Job in Franklin, NC

Angel Medical Center is seeking an RN for its Emergency Department. This is a 91-day travel assignment starting October 9, 2026, with a schedule of three 12-hour night shifts per week (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM). You'll earn $2,181.24 weekly.

You will work in a high-volume, 101-bed emergency department. Typical patient ratios are 4:1 for medical patients and up to 7:1 for ED behavioral holds. Techs support you in the cardiac monitoring unit, internal processing area, and triage. Unit clerks are available during day and night shifts to help manage workflow.

Clinical Environment

• Document using Cerner electronic health record system
• Utilize Baxter pumps and GE monitors
• No floating outside the ED, but you must be flexible to float to all sections within the ED
• Follow AIDET patient experience standards and respectful behavior practices
• Keep patient boards updated throughout visits
• Wear navy scrubs as required uniform

Schedule and Expectations

• Every other weekend availability required, with flexibility to meet department needs
• Demonstrate teamwork mentality with ability to coach and give feedback in real time
• Flexibility to work in all areas of the ED required

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in a Level 2 trauma center, comprehensive stroke center, or high-volume ED with greater than 100,000 visits
• Minimum 1 year of experience in an ER setting
• Current certifications required on hire: ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC, CPI, NIHSS
• ENPC required within 90 days of hire
