ED - Emergency Room

RN - ED

Job Details:

• 9-bed freestanding emergency department unit with a patient ratio of 1:4
• Day shift hours: 7:00 AM with charge nurse coverage, plus staff at 9:00 AM, 11:00 AM, and 1:00 PM
• Night shift hours: 7:00 PM with charge nurse coverage
• Rotating weekend requirement: 4 out of every 8 weekends
• No on-call responsibilities
• At least 2 years of emergency room experience required
• Freestanding emergency department (FSED) experience preferred
• Meditech EMR experience preferred
• Perform typical procedures including IV placement, bloodwork, Foley catheter insertion, breathing treatments, and medication administration
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS or ENPC, TNCC, CPI
• Dress code: Navy blue scrubs
• Team-oriented, accountable, and compassionate personality preferred
• May provide hours at other affiliated freestanding emergency departments within 25 miles if needed
