Job Details:

• Varied work schedule with rotating weekends, holidays, and float per department guidelines
• Assess, plan, implement, evaluate, and document nursing care of patients in accordance with organizational policies and professional nursing practice standards
• Review patient history and physical with patient and family, ensuring completion within appropriate timeframes
• Review diagnostics and laboratory data and report abnormal results to physicians and appropriate caregivers
• Formulate and implement individualized plans of care, including discharge planning, based on patient-specific needs and multidisciplinary team collaboration
• Provide direct patient care based on physician orders and nursing plan of care in compliance with policies, procedures, and standards of care
• Delegate and supervise activities of licensed and non-licensed healthcare team members as appropriate
• Evaluate patient and family response to care and teaching, revising the plan of care as needed
• Document assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation accurately and in a timely manner in the patient record
• Participate in unit or facility shared leadership and contribute to the education, orientation, and mentoring of staff, patients, and families
• Minimum one year of experience in an acute care hospital setting required, with experience in the specialty area within the past 12 months
• Current, valid RN license required
• BLS certification required
• Bachelor's degree preferred
• Professional certification preferred
