CT Technologist Job in Columbia, SC

Prisma Health Richland Hospital is seeking a CT Technologist for a 91-day travel assignment. You will work the night shift, operating advanced imaging equipment in a fast-paced Trauma Level I facility.

Role and Schedule

• 3 x 12-hour night shifts per week, 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM
• Weekend schedule: Friday, Saturday, and Sunday
• 91-day assignment starting September 21, 2026

Responsibilities

You will perform comprehensive CT imaging across all body regions, including abdomen, chest, head, pelvis, spine (cervical, lumbar, thoracic), and musculoskeletal trauma studies. You will prepare and administer contrast media, establish peripheral IVs, and apply appropriate isolation precautions and personal protective equipment. You will work with patients across all age groups, from neonates through geriatrics.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of CT technologist experience
• Cardiac, stroke, and trauma imaging experience
• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program
• Current ARRT CT and ARRT R certifications
• Current BLS certification
• South Carolina QRSA license
• ARRT registration in both Radiography and CT

Equipment and Skills

You must have hands-on experience operating Siemens, GE, Philips, and Toshiba CT equipment. Proficiency with PACS systems and electronic charting is required. You will demonstrate competency in imaging protocols without and with contrast media, establishing IVs, and working efficiently in a Trauma Level I environment.
