ED RN Job in Waterloo, IA

You'll work as a Registered Nurse in the Emergency Department at MercyOne Waterloo Medical Center. This is a 90-day travel assignment starting September 21, 2026.

Schedule and Pay

• 5 days per week, 8-hour shifts during day hours
• Weekly pay: $2,631
• 90-day contract length

Role Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in the Emergency Room
• Assess, monitor, and respond to acute and emergent patient needs
• Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, and interdisciplinary team members
• Document patient care accurately and timely
• Maintain a safe and efficient patient care environment

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license in Iowa
• ACLS certification
• PALS certification
• TNCC certification
• CPI certification
• BLS certification

Additional Information

Holiday rotation is required every third holiday. You'll join a busy ED team serving the Waterloo community. This assignment offers you the opportunity to work with diverse patient populations and expand your emergency nursing skills.
