Emergency Room RN Job in Mason City, IA

You will work as a registered nurse in the Emergency Room at MercyOne North Iowa Medical Center in Mason City, Iowa. This is a travel nursing position offering you the opportunity to provide direct patient care in a dynamic, fast-paced emergency department environment.

Position Details:

• Schedule: 3 shifts per week, 12.5 hours each, working nights from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• Every other weekend rotation
• Every other holiday rotation
• Assignment duration: 91 days
• Start date: September 8, 2026
• Weekly pay: $2,358

Your responsibilities will include assessing and stabilizing patients presenting with acute conditions, performing emergency interventions, collaborating with physicians and interdisciplinary teams, and maintaining accurate documentation in a high-volume setting. You will respond to diverse patient needs ranging from minor injuries to life-threatening emergencies.

As an RN in the ED, you will need to demonstrate strong clinical judgment, excellent communication skills, and the ability to remain calm and focused under pressure. Your experience with triage protocols, emergency procedures, and patient education will be essential to succeeding in this role.
