Job Details:

• 3x12 shift schedule from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM
• On-call rotation requirement of 1 in 4 or 5; call hours run 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM the following day
• Weekend call runs 7:00 AM Saturday through 7:00 AM Monday
• 20-minute call back requirement; call house available for those living outside the distance requirement
• 1 weekend out of every 5 and one weeknight per week required
• Robotic experience required
• 1 year of surgical technologist experience required; first-time travelers accepted
• Community hospital experience required
• Scrubbing experience required
• EPIC charting experience is a hard requirement
• Candidates must be able to float
• Scrubs provided in grey
• 24-hour orientation
• Preferred patient age groups: Infants, Pediatrics, Adolescents
• Specialty procedures include: Orthopedics, ENT, General, OB/GYN, Urology, and Podiatry
• Required skills include: General OR, Endoscopic sinus procedures, Laparoscopic assisted cases, Radical neck dissection, Tonsillectomy/adenoidectomy, Tracheostomy, Bronchoscopy, Colonoscopy, EGD, Peg tube placement/exchange, Appendectomy, Cholecystectomy, Colon resection (Open/LAP), Hernia repair, Thyroidectomy, Whipple, Abdominal hysterectomy, Bilateral tubal ligation, C-sections, Dilation & Curettage, Vaginal Hysterectomy, Arthroscopy, Closed/Open reduction of fractures, Laminectomy/discectomy, Ankle fusion, Bunionectomy, Cystoscopy, Nephrectomy, Prostatectomy, Transurethral resection of the prostate, and Aseptic Technique
• Required certifications: BLS, NBSTSA
• New York state license required
