Opportunity:

RN - Med Surg

Job Details:

• 12-hour shifts required
• Every other or every 3rd weekend schedule depending on staffing and census
• No on-call responsibilities
• Required to work 1-2 upcoming holidays unless unit is closed
• Float across all campuses as needed
• Patient ratio of 1:6-7
• 25-bed unit caring for general and abdominal patient types
• Heparin drip and titration experience required
• Scrub color requirement: navy blue solid tops and bottoms
• 24 months of Medical Surgical experience in a hospital or medical center setting required
• Must have completed a travel contract within the past 24 months - no first-time travelers
• Heparin experience required
• EPIC EMR experience required
• Level II trauma experience required; Level I trauma experience preferred
• Abdominal patient care experience required
• Active Iowa or compact/multistate nursing license required
• Required certifications: BLS (AHA or ARC)
