ICU RN Job in Chandler, AZ

You will work as an RN in the MOSU unit at Banner Ocotillo Medical Center, serving a mixed patient population of ICU and PCU patients. You must be willing to float to PCU when needed, and you can expect a varied work schedule.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Assess, plan, implement, evaluate, and document nursing care in accordance with organizational policies and professional nursing practice standards
• Review patient history, physical information, diagnostics, and laboratory data, reporting abnormal results to physicians and appropriate caregivers
• Formulate and implement individualized plans of care, including discharge planning in collaboration with multidisciplinary team members
• Delegate and supervise activities of health care team members including licensed nurses and other personnel
• Evaluate patient and family response to care and teaching, revising care plans as needed
• Maintain timely and accurate documentation of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation in patient records
• Participate in unit or facility shared leadership and contribute to improvement of national nursing quality indicators
• Precept and mentor staff as appropriate

Requirements:

• Current, valid RN license in state of practice
• BLS certification
• Minimum of one year experience in an acute care hospital setting, with experience in the specialty area within the past 12 months
• Bachelor's degree preferred
• Professional certification preferred
