Telemetry RN Job in Tucson, AZ

Northwest Medical Center and affiliated facilities are seeking a Registered Nurse for a Telemetry position in Tucson, Arizona. This is a 13-week travel contract working day shifts, 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM, on a 3x12-hour schedule with six weekend shifts per six-week rotation.

Position Details:

• Float pool role across four facilities: Northwest Medical Center, Oro Valley Hospital, Northwest Houghton, and Northwest Sahuarita
• Patient ratio of 6:1
• Weekly pay: $2,094
• Start date: September 28, 2026

Requirements:

• Current Arizona nursing license
• Minimum two years of nursing experience
• BLS and ACLS certifications
• Cerner EMR experience preferred

Responsibilities:

You will provide direct patient care using the Nursing Process in accordance with Arizona Nurse Practice Act and facility policies. Your role includes demonstrating critical thinking and scientific judgment in planning safe care delivery, maintaining clinical competencies through continuing education, and delegating patient care priorities to available staff based on their education and experience. You will provide direction and supervision of assigned personnel and ensure shift accountability for patient outcomes.

Scrub color is flexible. This position offers the opportunity to gain experience across multiple settings within the Northwest Medical Center system while maintaining a stable day-shift schedule during your 13-week assignment.
