Telemetry RN Job in Highlands, NC

Join Highlands-Cashiers Hospital as a Telemetry RN on our 24-bed acute care unit. You'll work three twelve-hour night shifts per week (6:45 PM–7:15 AM), caring for geriatric and swing bed patients in a supportive team environment.

Your responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care to 6–7 patients per shift
• Perform advanced wound care procedures
• Monitor cardiac rhythms and vital signs using standard medical/surgical equipment
• Document patient care in the Cerner system
• Support geriatric patients and those in inpatient rehabilitation programs

What you'll need:

• Current RN license
• BLS certification (required)
• ACLS and CPI certifications (preferred)
• Experience with geriatric care or inpatient rehabilitation

Unit details:

Floating to other units is rare, and you'll work in an environment with excellent teamwork. The unit operates without dedicated unit secretary or tech support, so you'll be part of a close-knit team managing the unit's needs together. The hospital serves an affluent community and maintains concierge-level service expectations.

Dress code: Navy nursing uniforms or navy top with white bottoms.
