PCU RN Job in Lancaster, OH

You will provide direct patient care on the Progressive Care Unit at Fairfield Medical Center in Lancaster, Ohio. This is a full-time position working three 12-hour night shifts per week for 91 days, beginning August 24, 2026. Your weekly pay is $2,089.

As an RN on this Med-Surg PCU, your core responsibilities include:

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care using the nursing process
• Administer medications and perform treatments safely and accurately
• Implement physician orders and promptly communicate relevant observations and changes in patient status
• Provide patient and family education from admission through discharge
• Document the nursing process thoroughly, concisely, and legibly
• Direct and supervise nursing assistants and delegate role-appropriate tasks
• Manage equipment, supplies, and safe work environments
• Handle urgent situations with composure and communicate empathically with patients

You will manage multiple priorities and make independent clinical decisions using critical thinking. The role requires heavy physical work, including occasional exertion of 50 to 100 pounds of force and frequent exertion of 25 to 50 pounds.

Requirements:

• Valid Ohio nursing license
• Current CPR certification
• Previous registered nursing experience preferred
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills
