RN - Med Surg Tele

Job Details:

• Work as a member of the interdisciplinary team, contributing professional and clinical knowledge and skills in the provision and management of care to patients
• Shifts include every other weekend requirement
• No on-call responsibilities
• Patient ratio of 6:1
• Floating required to other med-surg units and may be asked to float within the same discipline across local campuses
• Types of patients include Neuro/Ortho and Med Surg
• EMR system: EPIC
• Scrub color: Navy Blue
• 1.5+ years of experience required
• Experience with Heparin required
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
• Required certifications: BLS (AHA preferred; ARC or US Military certificates also accepted), NIHSS
• Active Iowa nursing license or compact nursing license required (must show Active status on Nursys)
• Skills checklist specific to Med Surg/Tele discipline required
• 1 Supervisory Reference Form completed within the last two years required
• Valid Driver's License required
• All candidates must reside at least 50 miles from the facility
