ICU - Intensive Care Unit

RN - ICU/CCU

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour shifts on either day shift (7:00 AM to 7:00 PM) or night shift (7:00 PM to 7:00 AM)
• Weekend shifts required as needed
• Holiday shifts filled based on need
• No on-call or standby requirement
• Float pool position covering ER, ICU, MedSurg, Tele, L&D/PP, and NICU across three facilities in Boise, Meridian, and Nampa (all approximately 20 minutes apart)
• RNs will only float within their specialty and will never float to a lower acuity unit
• Unit assignment provided via app 1 hour before shift start
• Mid-shift floating to different units and facilities possible based on need as travelers are first to float
• No self-scheduling; block scheduling attempted but not guaranteed
• ICU nurse-to-patient ratio is 1:1-2
• Charge nurse available on all units with float pool assistant managers on call 24/7
• Nurse aides and patient care techs available on units at ratios of 1:8-10 depending on floor and day
• Required to read and interpret tele/monitor in ICU
• Required to titrate drips in ICU setting
• Charting system: EPIC
• 3 shifts of inpatient orientation provided along with a meet and greet on day one
• No specific scrub color required as long as clean and professional
• Minimum 2 years of experience in specialty required along with previous travel experience
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS
• BSN not required
