ICU RN Job in San Antonio, TX

Opportunity:

RN - OR ICU/SICU

Job Details:

• 13-week assignment
• Day shift: 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM and night shift: 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM available
• Rotating weekend schedule required
• No on-call requirements
• Guaranteed 36 hours per week
• Minimum 2-3 years or more of ICU experience required
• Strong critical thinking skills required
• MICU and MSICU background preferred
• Meditech charting and order entry preferred
• Active TX RN License required - temporary licenses will not be accepted
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIH Stroke Certification
• Perform procedures including chest tubes, trachs, GI scopes, intubations, central lines, art lines, NG tubes, Foley catheters, and dressing changes
• Documentation system: Meditech
• All travelers are required to float per facility floating policy
• Badge in and out for shifts is required along with taking a full 30-minute lunch
• Clock-in time is 6:38 AM/PM - after 6:45 AM/PM is considered tardy
• Dress code: Navy scrub top and pants, navy or white scrub jacket for RNs
• Nails must be clean and healthy
• Hair should be neat and clean with no extreme styles or colors; beards, mustaches, and sideburns must be clean and neatly trimmed
• Body art should be covered whenever possible
• Visible piercings other than ears are prohibited
