ED - Emergency Room

Opportunity:

RN - ER

Job Details:

• 3x12 night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM (3:00 PM to 3:00 AM occasionally if needed)
• Up to every other weekend and holiday coverage as needed
• No on-call responsibilities
• Patient ratio of 4:1 for days, nights, and weekends
• Self-scheduling
• Minimum 2 years of experience required; first-time travelers welcome
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, PALS, STARR/Behavioral population
• EPIC EMR experience required
• STEMI and Stroke facility experience required
• Community hospital experience preferred
• Care for patients across all age groups including neonates, infants, adolescents, pediatrics, adults, and geriatrics
• Special care populations include cancer, sepsis, medical emergencies, and behavioral health
• Skills required include BiPAP/CPAP management, blood product administration, care of ventilated patients, central line care and management, continuous IV sedation, IV vasopressors, procedural sedation administration and monitoring, phlebotomy, triage, dysrhythmia interpretation and management, and starting and maintaining IVs
• All RNs must pass a compliance EKG exam (2 attempts allowed)
• Travelers may be floated to any campus within the health system as needed
• No local candidates within a 50-mile radius; active license must be in hand at submission
