CT Technologist - CT Tech

Job Details:

• Weekend day shifts on Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• Float to X-ray as needed
• Two techs staffed per shift covering X-ray and CT for the ED and inpatients
• Some patient transport involved to and from the ED
• Radiologists are staffed off-site and available for questions via Perfect Serve secure paging
• Facility operates as a primary stroke center
• Perform CT scans including head, chest, abdomen, pelvis, lumbar, thoracic, cervical, sinuses, soft tissue neck, and musculoskeletal trauma
• Perform vascular chest imaging including pulmonary embolism, CTA, and aorta studies
• Perform and assist with contrast media preparation and administration
• Capable of starting peripheral IVs
• Follow radiation safety protocols and isolation precautions/PPE requirements
• Serve patients across age groups including adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
• Charting system: Epic - Radiant (1 year of Epic experience required)
• Scrub color: Hunter Green
• Required certifications: ARRT CT, ARRT R, BLS, and SC Radiology license
• Minimum 2 years of experience in the field required
• Trauma Level I and II experience preferred
