Telemetry RN Job in Kingwood, TX

HCA Houston Kingwood is seeking an RN for a 13-week travel assignment on the Telemetry unit. You will work 3x12 hour day shifts (7 a.m. to 7 p.m.) on a 28-bed Medical/Surgical Telemetry unit located on the 4th floor of the North Tower.

What you'll do:

• Provide direct patient care with a ratio of 1:5–6 patients
• Perform telemetry monitoring and wound care procedures
• Operate equipment including Baxter IV pumps, SCD machines, glucometer, Mobilab, and Welch Allyn devices
• Document patient information using the Meditech EMR system
• Float to other Medical/Surgical Telemetry units and the Emergency Department for inpatient hold patients as needed

Staffing and schedule:

• Day shift team includes 1 CNC, 3 RNs, 3 LVNs, 3 PCTs, and 1 Unit Secretary
• Four weekend shifts per 4-week schedule required
• No on-call requirements

Requirements:

• Active RN license
• BLS certification required
• BSN preferred
