ED - Emergency Room

RN - ED ER

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour mid shifts from 11:00 AM to 11:00 PM
• Full-time position
• Every other weekend required
• Voluntary on-call requirement
• May float to other units as helping hands during low census
• Coordinate and implement patient care specific to the age of the patient population served
• Obtain and record initial assessments and establish priorities according to patient age, symptoms, and psychosocial needs
• Reassess patients systematically to identify progress and trends that require intervention
• Develop and implement measurable individualized plans of care for patients
• Make comprehensive nursing decisions based on interpretation of facts and evaluation of patient outcomes
• Participate in patient and family health education and discharge planning
• Implement and document timely interventions appropriate to patient needs
• Perform various Point of Care testing procedures
• Must be a graduate of an accredited program for Registered Nursing
• Minimum 2 years of Registered Nurse experience required
• Current New Mexico RN license or current Compact state license required
• Required certifications: BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), PALS (AHA), TNCC or ATCN
• CPI/De-Escalation certification preferred
• EMR system used: EPIC
• Dress code: Pewter/Charcoal grey scrubs
