Occupational Therapist Job in Fairfax, MO

Community Hospital Fairfax is seeking an Occupational Therapist to join their inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation services. You will work 40 hours per week on a 5x8 day schedule, typically from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM with a one-hour lunch break. Flexibility in scheduling is available.

Your caseload will be balanced across multiple settings and patient populations:

• 40% outpatient services
• 40% inpatient services
• 20% skilled nursing and home health

You will work with both pediatric and adult patients recovering from injuries, illnesses, or disabilities. Your role is to help patients regain independence and quality of life, enabling them to safely return to their daily activities and routines.

This position requires:

• Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
• Active OT license in the state of Missouri or a Compact State
• Active BLS certification issued through American Heart Association (AHA)
