Job Details:

• No on-call responsibilities
• No weekends required unless a holiday falls within Monday through Friday, in which case hours may be made up on the weekend
• Missouri state license required
• Minimum 1 year of OTA experience required
• Long-term care or skilled nursing facility experience required
• New graduates accepted provided they have Level II fieldwork experience and not solely Level I observation experience
• Active OTA license required
• Utilize evidence-based practice to support clinical interventions for patients with cognitive and/or physical functioning disorders
• Administer rehabilitative treatments including ADL retraining, therapeutic activities, therapeutic exercises, modalities, and use of supportive and assistive devices under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist
• Assess patient progress and communicate with supervising Occupational Therapist to adjust treatments accordingly
• Provide consultation to patients, families, caregivers, and other service providers related to cognitive and/or physical disorders
• Document all required information in the electronic documentation system and maintain patient records according to company policy
• Accurately record treatment minutes for services provided per all regulatory and clinical requirements
• Participate in required meetings including patient care conferences, utilization review meetings, and rehabilitation meetings
• Adhere to NBCOT/AOTA and state required practice acts, code of conduct, and ethics during professional practice
