ICU RN Job in Des Moines, IA

You will provide comprehensive critical care nursing in an intensive care unit setting at MercyOne Des Moines Medical Center. Your role involves monitoring and caring for critically ill patients who require intensive medical intervention, collaborating with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to deliver optimal patient outcomes, and maintaining accurate documentation and patient records.

Your Responsibilities:

• Monitor and assess critically ill patients requiring intensive medical intervention
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
• Operate and monitor specialized ICU equipment and technology
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care and clinical observations
• Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, and other clinical staff to optimize patient care
• Respond to patient needs and changes in condition with clinical judgment and intervention

• Specialty: Intensive Care Unit (ICU)
• Shift: 3×12 nights
• Schedule: Every other weekend and every other holiday; required to work July 3rd and 4th

Compensation:

• Weekly pay: $2,316.60
