Emergency Room RN Job in Houston, TX

Join a 50-bed Emergency Department at HCA Houston Northwest as a travel RN. This is a 13-week assignment beginning October 19, 2026, with a day shift schedule of 7 AM to 7 PM, working three 12-hour shifts per week.

The department is designated as a Trauma II center and operates as a Comprehensive Stroke Center and Chest Pain Center. You will manage a 4:1 patient ratio and work alongside a team that includes CNCs, LVNs, paramedics, PCTs, and behavioral health techs. Every other weekend is required.

Your Responsibilities:

• Perform trauma and emergency department procedures
• Utilize GE Monitors and Belmont Rapid Infuser equipment
• Document and communicate using the Meditech EMR system (experience preferred)
• Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment

Requirements:

• Current RN license
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications
• Trauma experience preferred
