Opportunity:

RN - Med Surg Tele

Job Details:

• 3x12-hour day shifts from 6:45 AM to 7:15 PM
• Patient ratios of 1:5-6 on days, nights, and weekends
• Every other weekend required
• No on-call required
• May be required to float within scope to meet facility needs or between like units and sister facilities
• 2 years of experience required
• First-time travelers accepted
• South Carolina RN license or Compact license required prior to start
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS; NIHSS preferred
• Telemetry competency required
• Previous charge experience preferred
• Community hospital experience preferred
• Scrub color: Royal Blue
• Charting system: Epic
• Cares for adult and geriatric patient populations
• Common patient diagnoses include Diabetes, HTN, CAD, Seizure, CVA, TIA, and CRD
• Required skills include cardiac telemetry, interpretation and management of dysrhythmias, central line care, PICC line management, blood product administration, heparin protocols, wound care, and tracheostomy care among others
• Interdisciplinary support available including Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, Phlebotomy, Social Services, Rapid Response Teams, Pharmacy, and Unit Secretary
