Opportunity:

RN - Med Surg

Job Details:

• 13-week contract assignment
• 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Guaranteed 72 hours biweekly with overtime after 80 hours worked in the second week
• Every other weekend and holiday rotation required
• Float to Emergency Department within competency required
• May be low censused and placed on call with a minimum 2-hour callback requirement
• Work on a 25-bed Med Surg unit with patient ratios of 1:4-1:5 days and 1:6 nights average
• Generally see geriatric patients with CHF, COPD, and diabetic conditions
• Strong charting experience required with CareScape patient monitors, Epic EMR, and Pyxis medication dispensing systems
• Minimum 2 years Med Surg experience required with ICU and ER experience also required
• Current Michigan RN license and AHA BLS required
• ACLS preferred but not required
• Associate Degree or Certificate required; Bachelor's Degree preferred
• Any colored scrubs permitted
• Must reside outside 50 miles of facility
