Operating Room RN Job in Bay City, MI

McLaren Bay Region is seeking an RN for the Operating Room on a temporary assignment in Bay City, Michigan. You will work three 12-hour day shifts per week for 91 days, with an assignment start date of October 19, 2026.

About the Role

As an Operating Room RN, you will provide direct and indirect patient care across all age populations during your designated shifts. You will utilize the nursing process to guide your practice, including assessment of biophysical, psychosocial, environmental, self-care, educational, and discharge planning factors. Your responsibilities include planning and prescribing nursing interventions, implementing care, and evaluating outcomes. You will assess patient data relevant to age and status, interpret findings, and provide appropriate care.

Schedule and Requirements

This position operates on a 3x12 day schedule with an on-call shift from Wednesday 6:30 PM to 6:30 AM. There are no weekend requirements for this assignment.

Qualifications

• Current Michigan nursing license with LARA and Nursys verification
• Minimum 2 years of Operating Room experience
• BLS (AHA) certification
• ACLS certification
• Skills checklist completed within one year of application
• Travel healthcare experience preferred

Compensation

You will receive $2,277 per week for this temporary position.
