ED - Emergency Room

Opportunity:

RN - ER

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour night shifts from 6:00 PM to 6:30 AM
• Every other weekend requirement
• Holiday shifts required unless time off is requested
• Patient ratio is typically 4:1
• Fast track unit available within the 27-bed emergency department including trauma bays
• Charting system is Epic
• Lab draws required - RNs are expected to draw labs with lab as backup
• ED serves as the IV team
• Respiratory therapy available 24/7
• Pharmacy available 24/7
• Security and 1:1 patient sitters available
• ED Techs available to assist - no nurse aides or paramedics
• Treat patients of all ages with varied diagnoses
• First to float within Region II when needed - float sites include St. Joseph Medical Center in Tacoma, WA and St. Elizabeth Hospital in Enumclaw, WA
• Additional $20 per hour when floated to a facility within Region II that is not the primary facility
• Scrub color: Any
• BSN not required
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS, TNCC
