Physical Therapist Job in Lowell, MA

Join Tide Health Group at Northwood Rehabilitation & Health Care Center as a Physical Therapist on a 91-day travel assignment. You'll work days only—5x8 shifts with no on-call or weekend requirements—giving you predictable scheduling and work-life balance.

What You'll Do

• Screen, evaluate, and rehabilitate patients with physical functioning disorders and wound care needs
• Develop and implement evidence-based plans of care that meet all regulatory and clinical standards
• Administer manual techniques, therapeutic exercises, modalities, ambulation training, and wound care
• Assess patient progress regularly and adjust treatments based on clinical outcomes
• Provide consultation and counseling to patients, families, caregivers, and interdisciplinary team members
• Document comprehensively in the electronic health record and maintain accurate treatment minutes per regulatory requirements
• Participate in patient care conferences, utilization reviews, and rehabilitation meetings
• Supervise and support physical therapist assistants, rehabilitation aides, and students
• Prepare discharge summaries according to clinical and regulatory standards

What We're Looking For

• Current Massachusetts state license
• Minimum 1 year of physical therapy experience
• Long-term care or rehabilitation experience required
• New graduates considered with Level II clinical experience
• Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with healthcare teams
• Commitment to APTA practice standards, code of conduct, and professional ethics
