Opportunity:

RN - Med Surg Tele

Job Details:

• 3x12 day shifts with every other weekend coverage required
• Staffing ratio of 1:6 for both days and nights
• Float required - may be floated to other units based on need and skill set
• Care for adult and geriatric patient populations
• Patient diagnoses include: Stroke/TIA, Seizure, Syncope, Pneumonia, Chest Pain, Dialysis, Acute Kidney Failure, Post Heart Cath, Respiratory Failure, Encephalopathy, CHF, and Sepsis
• Unit serves as the inpatient unit for stroke and TIA patients with higher acuity med-surg patients
• Perform peritoneal dialysis and continuous bladder irrigation
• Medication system: Omnicell
• Minimum 1 year of EPIC EMR experience required
• Minimum 1 year of nursing experience required
• Previous charge experience required
• Travel experience required - no first-time travelers
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS
• Active Tennessee RN license required
• Required skills include: telemetry monitoring, interpretation of dysrhythmias, blood product administration, central line blood draw, PICC line management, heparin and insulin management, continuous bladder irrigation, wound care/wound vac, BiPAP/CPAP management, high flow nasal cannula, chest tube management, and use of rapid response/code teams
