PCU RN Job in Wausau, WI

Aspirus Wausau Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse for a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) position. This is a travel nursing role ideal for experienced RNs looking for a short-term assignment in central Wisconsin.

Role Overview

You will provide direct patient care in the Short Stay Unit with an assignment covering intermediate-level acuity. As part of the staffing model, you may be floated to other inpatient units as operational needs require, including the Intermediate Care (IMC) and Cardiac Telemetry Unit (CTU). Floating may also occur across sister facilities within the designated region, so flexibility is important to this position.

• Shift: 4x12 Rotating
• Duration: 91 days
• Start Date: October 19, 2026
• Weekly Pay: $2,751

Requirements

• Current Wisconsin nursing license or current compact state license
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience
• BLS certification (current)
• ACLS certification (current)
