Opportunity:

RN - Med Surg Tele

Job Details:

• 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Every other weekend coverage required
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience required
• Travel experience required
• Patient ratios: Days 1:6, Nights 1:7, Weekends 1:8
• Unit census of 20 patients with 25 total beds
• Care for adult and geriatric patient populations
• Common patient diagnoses include COPD, pneumonia, non-specific abdominal pain, cellulitis, and chest pain rule out
• Epic charting system experience is a hard requirement
• Community hospital experience preferred
• Candidates must float within the facility
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS
• Required skills include: MS/Tele, interpretation and management of dysrhythmias, use of Rapid Response/Code teams, blood product administration, central line care and management, peripheral line care and management, PICC line management, starting and maintaining IVs, CVA management, seizure disorders, substance withdrawal, BiPAP/CPAP management, High Flow Nasal Cannula (HFNC), nasal cannula, non-invasive airway management, oxygen administration, oxygen tanks, and isolation precautions/PPE
• Interdisciplinary support available including physical therapy, respiratory services, interpretation services, phlebotomy, radiology, pharmacy, and unit secretary
• Any color nursing uniform scrubs accepted
• New York nursing license required prior to submission
• Candidates must reside more than 75 miles from the facility
