Opportunity:

RN - Med Surg Tele

Job Details:

• Alternating shift schedule between 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM and 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Every other weekend coverage required
• Patient ratio of 1:5 to 1:7 for Med Surg assignments
• Float required
• Minimum 2 years of experience required
• Previous charge experience required
• NY nursing license required in hand - no exceptions
• Must reside more than 75 miles from facility - locals not accepted
• Required certifications: BLS, NIHSS
• Epic charting experience is a hard requirement
• Scrub color: Navy on bottom, navy or white on top
• Complex care unit serving Medicine, ortho overflow, and complex long-term patients
• Required skills include: MS/Tele, telemetry monitoring, use of Rapid Response/Code teams, pacemaker management (temporary and permanent), feeding tube care and management, blood product administration, central line care and management, phlebotomy, peripheral line care and management, PICC line management, starting IVs, heparin protocols, ortho trauma, total joint replacements, surgical drains, high flow nasal cannula (HFNC), nasal cannula, oxygen face masks, portable oxygen tank, tracheostomy management, isolation precautions, and wound care/wound vac
