ED - Emergency Room

Opportunity:

RN - ER

Job Details:

• Work three 12-hour night shifts weekly from 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM
• Regular day, evening, night, and weekend shifts required
• Minimum of 3 years of Emergency Room nursing experience required
• Assess and stabilize patients in the emergency room
• Coordinate patient care and provide effective communication with staff, patients, and families
• Provide immediate, specialized emergency care as part of a multidisciplinary emergency medical service provider team
• Demonstrate knowledge of growth and development across the life span and individualize the plan and delivery of care accordingly
• Utilize EMR system Meditech Expanse
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, and PALS
• Valid and current New York State RN license required
• Physical requirements include bending, lifting, standing, walking, and ability to perform CPR
• Potential for exposure to blood and other infectious body substances (OSHA Category A)
