Telemetry RN Job in West Des Moines, IA

MercyOne West Des Moines Medical Center is seeking a registered nurse for our Medical Surgical Telemetry unit. This is a 181-day travel contract position beginning August 24, 2026.

Role and Responsibilities

You will provide direct patient care in a fast-paced telemetry setting, monitoring cardiac rhythms and vital signs while supporting patients through their recovery. Your responsibilities include patient assessments, medication administration, care coordination, and interdisciplinary communication to ensure positive patient outcomes.

Schedule and Duration

• 12-hour day shifts, 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM
• Three shifts per week
• Every other weekend required
• Every other holiday required
• 181-day contract (approximately 6 months)

Compensation and Benefits
