Med Surg RN Job in Bluffton, IN

You will work as a Registered Nurse in the Medical Surgical unit at Bluffton Regional Medical Center on a 13-week travel assignment. This is a night shift position working 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, Friday through Sunday (3x12 schedule).

Shift & Schedule Details

• Night shift: 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• Three 12-hour shifts per week (Friday, Saturday, Sunday)
• Guaranteed 72 hours bi-weekly
• No on-call requirements
• Blocked scheduling available
• No floating to other units required
• Every other holiday required; up to 48 hours of requested time off during the 13-week commitment

Scope of Practice

You will provide acute care in Medical Surgical nursing, including telemetry, progressive care, and swing bed assignments. Patient ratios are 1:6 for acute care beds and 1:10 for swing beds. Your responsibilities include IV starts, comprehensive nursing assessments, and telemetry monitoring. ICU drips experience is preferred.

Requirements

• Active Indiana RN licensure
• BLS and ACLS certifications required; PALS preferred
• Minimum 3 years of clinical experience preferred
• Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility
• Navy blue scrubs required
• Familiarity with Cerner EMR preferred

Compensation & Assignment Details

Weekly pay is $2,102.40. The assignment runs for 91 days, beginning October 19, 2026. You will work in a hospital setting providing quality patient care in a structured, predictable schedule.
