CT Technologist Job in Hanover, PA

ADEX Healthcare Staffing is seeking a CT Technologist for a 90-day travel assignment at Central - UPMC Hanover in Hanover, PA. You will work a rotating schedule of three 12-hour shifts per week on Saturday, Sunday, and Monday from 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM.

Key Responsibilities:

• Independently perform computed tomography procedures utilizing established scan protocols, including contrast administration
• Operate complex imaging equipment for acquisition, analysis, reconstruction, and documentation of image data
• Demonstrate proper technique in venipuncture and proper use of power injector according to set protocols
• Administer PO, rectal, and IV contrast per physician orders and assess patients for potential risk factors prior to contrast media administration
• Identify all patients using two patient identifiers and review patient history to apply specific departmental protocols
• Document patient history in electronic records and ensure all exams are properly coded, tracked, networked, and charges entered
• Work alongside another technologist and Tech Assistant

Requirements:

• Graduate of an ARRT approved school of Radiologic Technology or completion of accredited CNMT program
• ARRT Certificate and Nuclear Medicine Technologist Certification (NMTC)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• PA Act 31, PA Act 33, PA Act 34, and PA Act 73 licenses
• CT registry must be acquired within 18 months of primary registry acquisition or date of hire
• Minimum 2 years of experience
• Preferred experience with Canon CT scanners
